Our client is seeking a SHQ Manager to take ownership of Health and Safety across the company with a strong emphasis on contractor engagement and implementation. This role will allow for autonomy and the chance to take a lead role within HandS across various sites. This role will be based out of the head office in Norwich, along with site travel across the UK to various sites as required. This role does not require extensive construction experience, however, experience within working at heights and lifting operations would be beneficial. The SHQ Manager will be responsible for:- Monitoring of HSQ performance in respect of its ability to review regularly key performance areas, and re-act accordingly to issues.- Work collaboratively with Directors, Senior Management and teams in other disciplines to deliver HSQ projects.- Assuring that all HandS documentation is controlled appropriately.The SHQ Manager will have: - Ability to communicate effectively and professionally and simplify information, so it is relatable at all levels- Experience in training and coordinating HandS projects. including all aspects of process development and execution- Experience in contractor management- Full UK Driving LicenceVacancy Reference: PR/(phone number removed) Vacancy Owner: Conor Hamlin ..... full job details .....
