Short Breaks Manager
St Michael''s House is a CQC registered 12 bedded short break and enablement service, offering support to adults with physical, neurological and learning disabilities.The ethos of the service is to enable people to have an enjoyable and varied stay whilst supporting and promoting their independence. People choose to come and stay for many reasons, including to have a break from their day-to-day routine, to give their main carer a break, or in emergency situations. We take referrals from the whole of the county and hospital teams.We are currently looking to offer this opportunity to a person who has some managerial experience and wants to further their career in a dynamic setting. The manager is required to oversee the operational management of this service and collaboratively better the lives of the people we support. As the service manager, you will be required to register with the Care Quality Commission, be accountable for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of the service and will be responsible for meeting required standards of staffing, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
