We are working with a well-established manufacturing business in the Hull area who are looking to appoint a Shop Floor Supervisor to support daily operations and drive performance across the production environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience who enjoys motivating teams and ensuring high standards across quality, safety and productivity.

The Role

As Shop Floor Supervisor, you will take responsibility for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring workflows run efficiently and production targets are consistently met.

You''ll act as the key link between management and the shop floor, supporting operatives while maintaining a structured, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and ensure schedules are achieved
• Coordinate workflow and resolve bottlenecks across departments
• Lead, support and develop shop floor operatives
• Deliver training and manage performance where required
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation
• Monitor product quality and ensure standards are met
• Act as the main point of contact for shop floor issues

About You

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within manufacturing
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
• Confident communicator, able to liaise across all levels
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic IT skills for reporting and production tracking

• 39-hour working week
• Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm (early finish )
