Shop Floor Supervisor

Wolviston Group are proud to be supporting a long-established precision engineering business in their search for a Shop Floor Supervisor/ / CNC Programmer. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Stockton-on-Tees, offering the chance to join a close-knit, technically skilled team within a well-equipped modern facility. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-specification components to a range of industries, focusing on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. 
Key Responsibilities:

• CNC programming and setup of Fanuc-controlled machines (turning and/or milling).
• Overseeing daily shop floor operations.
• Leading and mentoring machinists and apprentices.
• Ensuring production schedules, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Process optimisation and technical problem-solving.

Essential Requirements:

• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proven CNC programming experience with Fanuc controls.
• Strong background in precision machining.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
