We are actively looking to engage shipping, freight professionals with as passion for freight forwarding within the pharma/medical sector for a new role as a Shipping Co-ordinator (Pharma/Medical) in Leicestershire on a hybrid basis! Client Details My client is a SME freight and logistics business who are experienced within the pharma, life-science distribution sectors. They ship a variety of temperature controlled medical products, across the world, using air, sea and road freight forwarding solutions and are based in the Leicestershire area. Job Description As a Shipping Co-ordinator (Pharma/Medical) you will report in to the International Shipping and Freight Manager on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the following areas for responsibility across the Leicestershire office. Managing the pricing, quoting, booking and file monitoring of freight across import and export across air, sea and road freight within the medical and pharma sector. Manage air, sea and ocean freight import and export bookings including pricing, quotations, end-to-end shipping and customs documentations. Develop and build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to clients with a knowledge of the clients business requirements Informing customers are about the freight prices, port charges, cost of special documents, insurance prices as well as prices for handling the goods.
