Shift Team Leader - Energy from Waste Power StationUp to £68,500 + Bonus + BenefitsGloucestershire SCINERGY Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Shift Team Leader to join an operational Energy from Waste power station in Gloucestershire.This established facility operates around the clock, recovering energy from residual waste and playing an important role in the region''s waste and resource management infrastructure.This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern EFW plant in a key operational leadership role. As Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for safe, efficient and compliant plant operations while leading and developing a shift team.The role will involve overseeing plant operations, managing operational matters arising on shift and acting as a key decision-maker outside normal office hours.The RoleKey responsibilities will include: Leading and supervising the shift team within a 24-hour operational environmentTaking responsibility for operational matters arising during the shift and providing leadership outside normal office hoursActing as Senior Authorised Person and ensuring site safety rules, permits and safe systems of work are applied correctlyManaging emergency situations and coordinating the response with internal stakeholders and emergency servicesEnsuring the facility operates in line with design criteria, planning conditions, environmental permits and safety requirementsPromoting a strong safety culture and maintaining high standards of plant ..... full job details .....
