Shift Team Leader

We are recruiting for a Shift Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing operation in Brandon. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for managing the team, maintaining production levels and ensuring high standards of safety, quality and performance throughout the shift. Hours: Monday to Friday 2:00pm 10:00pm Pay Rate £15-£18 per hour Key Responsibilities Allocate workloads and ensure production targets are achieved. Monitor productivity, quality, downtime and waste. Provide leadership, coaching and support to team members. Assist with training and development of employees. Ensure company health and safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed. Monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation. Carry out basic fault finding and escalate technical issues when required. Ensure the correct materials and feedstocks are being used. Monitor product quality and identify any issues outside specification. Complete shift reports, production records and handover information. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and GMP. Report accidents, equipment faults and damage promptly. Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives. Provide hands-on support to the production team when required. Essential Experience and Skills Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar production role.
