Shift Supervisor

Manpower are currently recruiting for a Temp-to-perm Dispatch Shift Supervisor / Team Leader based in Grimsby. This is a hands-on role working across dispatch supervision, forklift operations, administration, and physical warehouse work. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared, loaded, and dispatched accurately, alongside Machine Operations.

Location

• Grimsby

Shift Pattern

• Weekly rotation (Monday-Friday)
• 6:00am - 2:00pm (Week 1)
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Week 2)

Pay Rate

• £13.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Strapping, securing and preparing pallets for dispatch
• Allocating and booking workloads
• Working across general Machine Operations using a Digital Printer (training provided)
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Recording dispatch data accurately (dates, quantities, destinations)
• Completing dispatch paperwork and system administration
• Supervising and supporting the dispatch team during the shift
• Assisting with production work during quieter periods

What We''re Looking For

Experience

• Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or team leader/supervisory role

Licences

• Valid FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence - essential

Skills andamp; Attributes

• Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident with basic admin and record-keeping
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
