Shift Supervisor

Manpower are currently recruiting for a permanent Dispatch Shift Supervisor / Team Leader based in Grimsby.
This is a hands-on role combining dispatch supervision, forklift operation, admin and physical warehouse work.
You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.Shifts: Weekly rotation (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm)
Pay Rate- £14.00 per hour*Please only apply for this role if you hold an in-date/ valid B1 Licence and able to evidence relevant experience in a similar role*Responsibilities

• Preparing pallets for dispatch
• Allocating and booking consignments onto the shipping network
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Strapping, securing, and checking pallets
• Recording dispatch data accurately (dates, quantities, destinations)
• Completing dispatch paperwork and system administration
• Supervising and supporting the dispatch team during the shift
• Assisting with production work during quieter periods
• Ensuring health andamp; safety procedures are followed at all times

• Valid FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence - essential
• Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or team leader/supervisory role
• Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident with basic admin and record-keeping
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
