Shift Supervisor Location: CoventryJob Type: Full-time, PermanentHours: 6PM-6AM 3 on - 3 off Reference: ASPLIVThe Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Coventry.This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will be responsible for the overall running of the site during your shift. You ll be managing the team, keeping the operation running smoothly and making sure standards around health and safety, quality, stock and productivity are maintained.We re open to people from different backgrounds, including manufacturing, production, warehousing, logistics and distribution. The main thing we re looking for is someone who has experience managing people and taking responsibility for a busy shift.Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day running of the operation during your shiftManage and support a team of permanent and agency staffOrganise labour and make sure the shift is properly staffedMake sure daily productivity and quality targets are achievedOversee stock movement, goods in, goods out and general stock controlComplete shift reports and keep performance information up to dateCarry out team briefs and support staff training and developmentDeal with return-to-works, holidays, timesheets, investigations and disciplinary matters when requiredMake sure Health and Safety procedures are followed across the siteCarry out safety checks and report any accidents or near missesLook at any operational issues and ..... full job details .....
