Shift Superintendent

Job Title: Shift Superintendent Working Location: Guilford (Site-Based) Permanent Position Key Responsibilities: - Lead operations on a high-pressure COMAH site - Provide control room leadership and manage incidents - Oversee plant performance, production, and live operations - Lead shift teams and supervise plant operations - Operate and monitor plant via SCADA / DCS systems - Ensure daily production targets and nominations are met - Act as Incident Controller for site emergencies - Drive safe working practices, including Permit to Work and HSE protocols - Manage shift handovers and report performance - Identify plant issues and support maintenance activities Requirements: - Experience in oil and gas or COMAH operations - Strong background in plant operations - Proficient in using SCADA / DCS systems - Confident in leading teams in live operational environments - Strong safety mindset (NEBOSH / Process Operations qualification preferred) Contract Type: Permanent Work Schedule: - Shift rota - 5 on, 5 off x 6 cycles, then a 15-day break - Days: 06:00 - 18:00 - Nights: 18:00 - 06:00 Benefits: - Pension - Defined shift rotation with extended break periods Step into a hands-on leadership role in a live production environment-drive plant performance, develop your operational skills, and make a tangible impact on production and safety.
