Shift Production Supervisor

Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Food Manufacturing business in South Lanarkshire. We''re supporting in their search for a Shift Production Supervisor to join their Operations team. Reporting into the Manufacturing Shift Manager, This role will have the Responsibility for driving Key Performance Indicators in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People. This role has responsibility for supporting the Shift Managers in developing a team willing to go the extra mile to strive for manufacturing excellence.You will get the opportunity to undertake a fully funded training and development programme as well as internal leadership development programmes too.Shifts / Hours of work:Days, 4on, 4off (06:00 - 18:00)Shift Production Supervisor - Summary of responsibilities: Lead by example encouraging appropriate behavioural standards in support of the companies values and cultureEngage, motivate, train, coach and develop a high performing team to meet/exceed performance targets and standardsWork flexibly with the business to manage labour for changes in production plans and support effective changeovers Contribute to Short Interval Control meetings in order to drive hourly/daily performanceRaise any hazards and near misses and support where required in accident investigationsReview time and attendance of staff and with support from the Manufacturing Shift LeadMonitor training of new starters on the production line to ensure training needs are met ..... full job details .....
