Shift Production Manager - Plastics Manufacturing, MansfieldW Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing business within the plastics sector, who are seeking an experienced Shift Production Manager to lead production operations on a rotating shift basis at their site in Mansfield. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing output while driving continuous improvement across people, processes, and performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The RoleThe Shift Production Manager will be responsible for managing all production activities during their allocated shift, ensuring delivery against production plans, KPIs, and operational targets. You will lead and motivate production teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of production performance across the assigned shift, ensuring output, quality, cost, and safety targets are met.Lead, coach, and develop shift-based production teams to maximise engagement and performance.Ensure all health, safety, and environmental requirements are adhered to at all times.Monitor and manage product quality, addressing non-conformances promptly.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, downtime, and OEE.Coordinate labour, materials, and machine availability to ensure smooth production flow and effective shift ..... full job details .....
