      <description>Location: Cheshire | Salary: &amp;pound;550 - &amp;pound;600/day | Type: Contract | Astute''s Power team is partnering with a multinational organisation specialising in the planning and implementation of turnkey power plants to recruit a Commissioning Operator on 4 month for its Cheshire site on a shift pattern.  The Commissioning Operator role comes with a rate between -550600 per day.   Key Skills:      Operating the plant safely and efficiently to maximise availability and performance.  Monitoring the Distributed Control System (DCS) and responding to alarms and plant upsets.  Carrying out routine operational inspections across the facility.  Starting up and shutting down plant equipment in accordance with operational procedures.  Monitoring combustion conditions to optimise boiler performance and emissions.  Operating the waste bunker, feed systems and supporting fuel handling activities.  Monitoring steam generation, turbine performance and auxiliary plant.  Operating flue gas treatment systems to ensure environmental compliance.  Completing equipment isolations, lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures and issuing permits to work.
