You will have experience of hydraulics and pneumatics. You will carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of production machinery. You will work as part of a team of fitters and plant operators on shift reporting to the team leader working to ensure all production machinery is fully optimised and functional. On the job training and development will be given on the specific production machinery.The Shift Mechanical Fitter Role: General maintenance activities, fault finding, PPM''s, upgrades and modifications as well as optimisation adjustments, ensuring the day to day maintenance tasks are carried out safely, effectively and efficiently.
