Production Shift Manager - Food ProductionLocation: LedburyJob type: PermanentHours: Monday to Friday rotating shifts: 5am - 2pm / 1:30pm - 10:30pmSalary £35,000We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Manager to join a fast-paced food production and packaging facility in Ledbury. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operations across a busy production shift.Key responsibilities: Oversee daily production activities to ensure output targets are consistently metMonitor operations and quickly resolve any issues to minimize downtimeLead, support and motivate a team of operatives and supervisors across your shiftDeliver clear pre-shift briefings, setting expectations and prioritiesProvide ongoing coaching, feedback and performance managementEnsure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health and safety regulationsCarry out regular checks to maintain operational and quality standardsIdentify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reductionSupport continuous improvement initiatives across production processes About you: Experience in a supervisory or management role within food manufacturing or a similar production environmentStrong understanding of UK food safety and health and safety standardsConfident leader with ability to motivate and manage teams effectivelyComfortable using production systems and reporting toolsFood safety or management qualifications are an advantage Benefits: Company ..... full job details .....
