Undertake a hands-on working approach to the management of your shift. Job Duties: Ensure that all health, safety and environmental rules and systems are strictly adhered to. Carry out risk assessments and the identification of hazards helping to develop safe operating procedures and train staff in those procedures. Carry out analysis, identify root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions. Liaise with engineering/maintenance personnel to ensure engineering tasks and PPM requests are actioned on time. Ensure all customer requirements are efficiently and effectively planned and scheduled to maintain appropriate stock levels and achieve on time delivery. Communicate daily with the Production Manager in relation to any changes in capacity requirements identifying any possible issues and solutions. Report production onto the system.
