Shift Manager + 40,500 - 43k + Food Production + 33 days inc BH + Fixed 6am-2pm Shift Tuesday - Saturday We are recruiting for an experienced Shift Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business in the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven production leader to take ownership of a manufacturing shift, driving performance across safety, quality, people, cost, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead and develop a team within a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, health and safety, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to deliver operational targets. Drive a positive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Ensure products are manufactured in line with food safety, quality, and customer standards. Manage labour, raw materials, packaging, and waste to achieve budgeted performance. Monitor and improve KPIs relating to efficiency, productivity, waste, quality, and attendance. Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and one-to-one meetings. Support training, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance.
