Shift Maintenance Technician

Due to a significant uplift in work, a well-established and prestigious manufacturing organisation are looking for a Shift-Maintenance Technician (electrical or mechanical).

The position is working in a unique, clean and fasted paced production environment with a range of complex, high speed machinery and auxiliary plant equipment.

The role will involve:

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including complex automated production machinery, control panels, and control systems
• Minimising downtime within a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Working with both modern and legacy machinery across a large factory site
• Supporting the Maintenance Manager with site projects and operational requirements
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment performance and efficiency

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a Level 3 NVQ/C&G qualification (or higher) in either mechanical or electrical engineering.

Maintenance experience in a similar position within a manufacturing/production or distribution environment is also required. -

Successful candidates will undergo security vetting and will need a clean criminal record and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years.

Shift pattern:

• 12 hour shifts Monday to Friday (3 or 4 per week)-
• Hours are 6am/6pm with an average 37.5 hour week
• Opportunity to pick up extra shifts/hours as overtime paid at x1.5
