SHIFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER BEAMINSTER PERMANENT POSITION 44,997.25 to 52,496.81 per annum dependant on shift Working hours 7:00am to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 7:00am on a 4, 5, 5 rolling shift pattern OR Monday to Friday 6:00am to 5:00pm OR Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 10:00pm Immediate Start / Notice periods considered We are looking for a SHIFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER to join our client on a permanent basis. Undertaking the responsibility of ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of all production machinery, utilities, and engineering systems within the factory during the assigned shift. Responsibility for monitoring equipment performance, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, minimizing production downtime, and ensuring that all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards. Continuing looking at where improvements can be made to maximise equipment efficiency, service and consistency whilst ensuring that health and safety and quality standards are never compromised. Key Duties and Responsibilities Quick resolution to plant breakdowns, faults, QA issues. Carry out planned preventative maintenance utilising agreed schedule. All planned and reactive maintenance is to be entered into the CMMS. Ensure that the achievement of food safety is always a priority.
