They have two sites in Scotland and form part of an international business stretching into Europe, the USA and Middle-East. The group is undergoing extensive growth and change right now, and they are currently looking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Engineer. Reporting into the Engineering Lead, the Maintenance Shift Engineer is responsible for performing scheduled Preventive Maintenance, responding promptly to equipment breakdowns, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Working closely with the Plant Leader and using the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System), this role ensures that machinery and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to support optimal production output. Responsibilities: Preventive Maintenance - carry out routine, scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and plant equipment, following established PM schedules. Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting - respond quickly to unplanned breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs. Collaboration with Plant Leader to coordinate maintenance activities around production demands and communicate about upcoming PM tasks potential downtime. ..... full job details .....
