Night Shift Maintenance EngineerSalary: 40,000 - 45,000 DOEHours: 42 hours per week averageShift Pattern: 3 nights on, 3 days off 12-hour shifts, 7 to 7We are recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a tier-one packaging manufacturer within a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role focused on keeping machinery running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.The successful candidate will carry out fault finding, reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance and general site engineering work across electrical and mechanical systems. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to improve reliability, maintain safety standards and support TPM/OEE initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Fault diagnosis and repair of production equipmentElectrical and mechanical maintenance across site machineryPlanned preventative maintenance and TPM activitiesSupporting improvements to machine efficiency and downtime reductionGeneral site maintenance and safety checksWorking to health and safety, quality and hygiene standardsRequirements:Strong electrical engineering backgroundRecognised engineering qualification, such as City and Guilds, ONC or NVQManufacturing or production environment experienceAbility to read electrical drawingsWorking knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics and hydraulicsElectrical installation experience, 17th/18th Edition beneficialBlow moulding or injection moulding ..... full job details .....
