Shift Engineer

Are you a hands-on Shift Engineer or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity within a busy production environment? We''re working with an established and successful organisation that is looking for an experienced engineer to join its Engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you''ll play an important part in keeping plant, machinery and production equipment operating safely and efficiently, working closely with both Engineering and Production colleagues. The Role Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you''ll be responsible for supporting both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, helping to minimise equipment downtime and keep production running smoothly. You''ll have a varied workload covering routine machinery checks, repairs, breakdown response and general maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and machinery Respond proactively to equipment faults and breakdowns Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs Undertake regular daily, weekly and monthly machinery checks Identify and implement solutions to minimise production downtime Work closely with Production teams to ensure maintenance work causes minimal disruption Follow safe systems of work and all relevant health and safety procedures Support engineering and production staff with training where required Assist with health, safety and environmental ..... full job details .....
