Shift EngineerLocation: LeicesterSalary: Up to £45k per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (4 on 4 off shift pattern Days and Nights)A motivated and skilled Engineer is required to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of site equipment and operations. This role focuses on ensuring machinery runs efficiently, safely and reliably, while contributing to ongoing improvements across the site.Key Responsibilities of this Shift Engineer role: Carry out maintenance and repair of plant equipment in a safe and timely mannerCommunicate progress updates clearly with production teamsSupport continuous improvement activities and small-scale engineering projectsMaintain company engineering standards, procedures and disciplinesIdentify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability and cost efficiencyReport incidents, accidents and near misses in line with safety proceduresEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standardsSupport contractors on site to ensure compliance with safety policiesMaintain accurate maintenance records within CMMS systemsEnsure effective handovers and clear communication between shiftsSkills and Experience required for this Shift Engineer role: Minimum 3 years experience within a manufacturing or process environmentStrong electrical and mechanical skillsKnowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsStrong fault-finding and ..... full job details .....
