Role and Responsibilities of a Shift Engineer: Maintain all production, processing and packaging machineryElectrical and mechanical fault finding and repairsComplete PPM and TPM schedulesDealing with motors, conveyors, PLC''s, gearboxes, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumaticsProject work - new machine installs and continuous improvementsOrdering spares, parts and maintain site CMMS Knowledge, Skills and Experience need to be a Shift Engineer: Looking for a multi-skilled engineer, with a mechanical biasedMust have experience of working on industrial production, processing and packaging machineryAt least 5 years'' experience outside of apprenticeshipIdeally have competed a formal apprenticeship schemeNVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higherMust be happy working a rotating shift pattern, with holidays built into a yearly rotaComputer literate - able to use SAP systems / CMMSExperience of working ..... full job details .....
