Role and responsibilities of a maintenance engineer: Carrying out PPM, reactive and predictive maintenance/breakdown analysisElectrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and PPM''sWorking on various high-speed food production lines, processing and packaging machinerySite services and facilities maintenanceSupport project work and continuous improvement activitiesPLC and control panels - electrical fault finding and repairs Knowledge, skills and experience needed to be a maintenance engineer: Must be a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biasedNVQ / City and Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineeringPreviously have worked in some form of fast-paced manufacturing environmentBe a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skillsAble to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficientlyBoth electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilitiesIdeally have knowledge of steam boilersDesirable experience with ..... full job details .....
