Role and responsibilities of a Shift Engineer: Carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all high-speed production and packaging machineryWorking on control panels, HMi''s, PLC''s, SCADA SystemsElectrical and mechanical fault finding, problem solving and repairsContinuous improvement projectsDealing with motors, VSD''s, servo drives, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, invertersMechanical fabrication, fitting, welding Knowledge, skills and experience need to be a Shift Engineer: Multi skilled engineer - ideally electrically biasedNVQ Level 3 engineering or maintenance minimumIdeally HNC / HND qualified - time-served-apprenticeshipMust have worked in some form of fast-paced / Food / FMCG manufacturing industryStrong electrical and mechanical problem solving skillsKnowledge of PLC''s, automation and control systems, HMi''sWorked on motors, inverters, VSD''s, sensors, switches, pneumatics, gearboxes If you do not get a response back on your application within 24-48 hours please ..... full job details .....
