Shift Engineer

We are seeking to hire Shift Engineer to join our team in the City of London.

Youll find us on Aldgate High Street in The City, right next to the Aldgate Underground station.This is a full-time position and is based on-site at the hotel.Shift EngineerYour main duties will include (but not limited to):Oversee the daily maintenance and engineering operationsLiaise with departments to coordinate and respond to routine / urgent maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areasInspect and perform preventive maintenance on the hotels life safety systems as well as throughout other areas of the hotel, including front and back of houseUnderstand statutory compliance and regulations and ensure the hotel complies with these, reporting any concerns relating to safety or guest needs.Work with external contractors to assist them in performing maintenance or construction workFlexibility to work 8 hour shifts in 5-day work weekAbout youPrevious experience working as Engineer, preferably with hotel experienceKnowledge of at least one of the key areas of engineeringGood level of English, both written and spokenGood team player and able to work unsupervised.
