Salary: Up to -50,000 + package
Shift Pattern: 4on 4off - Days & Nights

• 7am - 7pm
• 7pm - 7am

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical bias) to join a leading FM provider, working on a prestigious critical site within the City od London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work in a high-profile, business-critical environment with long-term stability and strong progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of a skilled on-site engineering team
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
• Ensuring all plant and building services operate efficiently within a critical environment
• Completing and managing logbooks, permits, and statutory compliance
• PPM tasks to include (but not limited to):
• Emergency lighting
• Fire alarm systems
• Lighting systems
• AHUs & FCUs
• Pumps, motors, and plant room inspections
• General building services maintenance

Requirements

Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (Level 3 preferred):

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations, Mechanical Engineering, or Plumbing OR
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations, Mechanical Engineering, or Plumbing

Electrical bias only:

• 18th Edition (essential)
• Testing & Inspection (2391) - desirable

Ideal Candidate

• Mechanical or Electrical bias with a strong building services background
• Previous experience working on critical or high-profile sites
• Confident, client-facing, and professional
• Strong understanding of compliance and safe systems of work
• Comfortable working continental shifts
