Shift Pattern: 4 on/4 off (days & nights)
- Day Shift: 7am - 7pm (1-hour unpaid break)
- Night Shift: 7pm - 7am (1-hour unpaid break)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities team supporting a key client in Moorgate. This is a hands-on role where you''ll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and day-to-day engineering tasks, ensuring the smooth running of building systems in a highly client-facing environment. This vacancy has arisen due to leavers in the team, and we are now looking for an experienced individual who can add immediate value, maintaining high service standards throughout this busy period.
Team & Environment
- You will be part of a dedicated engineering team working on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.
- The team is responsible for ensuring critical building systems remain operational while providing excellent support to the client.
- This is a high-profile building, meaning stakeholder interaction is frequent and professional presentation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on delivery of PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Support with day-to-day operations of M&E systems within the building.
- Responding promptly to issues and resolving them with minimal disruption.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements.
- Liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Supporting project-related work, particularly during weekends.
Typical Day in the Role
- Stakeholder Interaction: High - both internal and external, client-facing role.
- Location: Fully site-based in Moorgate. No travel outside of the London site required.

- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
