Shift Engineer - Client Direct Commercial Campus - Excellent Benefits - Barbican - -52,000

Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated by in Whitechapel. CBW are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and pays a yearly salary of -52,000 (including shift allowance) + excellent benefits based on qualifications and experience, inclusive of shift allowance.

He or she will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance to the following;


Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast''s, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Escort / organise sub contractors
• Attend client meetings if required
• Ensure site log books are kept up to date

Hours of work

• 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
• 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00pm - 07:00am

Package

• Salary of -48,000 + -4,000 shift allowance
• 26 shifts holiday
• 14.5% employer pension contribution

• On call payment + attendance payment if called out-

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
