      <description>Location: Lydney | Salary: 52771.00-52771.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Shift Electrician Heavy Engineering Salary: £52,771.91 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights), 7 cycles, 18 days off About the Role We are looking for an experienced Shift Electrician with a proven background in heavy engineering, heavy manufacturing, steel, metals, mining, power generation, cement, quarrying or other continuous process industries. This is a hands-on role working on large-scale industrial plant and equipment in a demanding production environment. The successful candidate will be confident diagnosing complex electrical faults, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and working safely on heavy industrial assets to maximise plant availability. If your experience has primarily been within commercial buildings, domestic installations or light industrial environments, this role is unlikely to be suitable. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and availability of critical plant equipment by carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
