SHIFT ELECTRICIAN Job Title: Shift ElectricianLocation: Inverness, Inverness-shireSalary: £47,835.41Shift: Rotating 12-hour days and nights Job Role of the Shift Electrician A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to work within a large-scale industrial environment, with the potential for career progression for someone who demonstrates the right qualities. The site manufactures wood-based panels, with a highly industrialised production process involving raw material preparation, drying, resin and wax application, pressing, cooling and finishing. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment across the factory, yard and offices, working as part of an experienced engineering team to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime. Sector - Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Shift Electrician Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance. Recognised electrical engineering qualification Desirable Requirements for the Shift Electrician Previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
