About the Role
A leading chemical and polymer manufacturer is seeking an experienced Shift Analyst to join their team in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with proven plant-based laboratory analytical and wet chemistry skills to work in a high-performing, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality analytical testing in a manufacturing environment
- Carry out titrations, GC analysis, and/or IC/ICP testing, depending on your skillset
- Ensure compliance with strict safety protocols and laboratory best practices
- Accurately record and interpret results to support operational decision-making
- Collaborate closely with production and process teams to maintain quality standards
What We''re Looking For
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience working in a chemical or polymer manufacturing environment (essential)
- Skilled in at least one but ideally several of the following:
- Titrations
- Gas Chromatography (GC)
- Ion Chromatography (IC)
- Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analysis
- Strong awareness of laboratory safety and good laboratory practice
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to work both day and night shifts
