Salary: Up to -55,000 + -5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus
Location: Flexible, with UK-wide travel

A well-established construction company is looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality activity across the business.

This is a senior role covering pre-construction, live projects and company-wide compliance. The successful SHEQ Manager will work closely with directors, contracts managers and site teams, promoting a practical and collaborative approach to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and improve SHEQ systems, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
• Support Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 submissions.
• Prepare and review Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments and SHEQ documentation.
• Carry out site inspections and audits across UK projects.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage training, competency records and the training matrix.
• Support quality, environmental and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a senior SHEQ role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and CDM Regulations.
• Experience supporting Building Safety Regulator Gateway submissions.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
