Sheq Manager

The Role Reporting into senior operational leadership, the SHEQ Manager will take responsibility for driving SHEQ performance across multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational excellence are maintained. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring close collaboration with operational teams, clients, supply chain partners and SHEQ professionals to support the successful delivery of utility and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage SHEQ performance across a major utilities framework. Provide leadership, guidance and support to operational teams, supervisors and SHEQ Advisors. Drive continual improvement initiatives across Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance. Conduct audits, inspections, investigations and assurance activities. Monitor compliance with company procedures, client requirements and industry standards. Produce SHEQ reports, KPI data and performance updates for senior management. Support project planning, risk management and operational decision-making. Promote and develop a positive SHEQ culture throughout the business. Coach, mentor and develop SHEQ personnel across the contract. Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners. About You To be considered for this position, you should have: Chartered IOSH status (CMIOSH) or be working towards Chartered Membership.
