SHEQ Manager- West Bromwich- £60,000 - £70,000 - Days only
As a SHEQ Manager, you know people look to you when it matters.
Not just for advice… for direction.
You’ve sat in those rooms when things need answering.
Audits, investigations, difficult conversations.
And you handle them properly.
This is an established, well run site that needs a SHEQ Manager like you to take ownership of safety, health, environmental and quality and make it your own.
As a SHEQ Manager, you’ll report directly into the Managing Director, so you’re part of the conversation, not sat on the sidelines. You’ll shape how the business moves forward, not just react to it.
You’ll be the SHEQ Manager dealing with regulators, the HSE, the Environment Agency. Representing the business, answering the questions and knowing when to stand your ground.
It’s a regulated environment. Structured, but practical. And as a SHEQ Manager, you know they’re unlikely to find someone who has done everything before.
So, if you’ve worked in manufacturing or a safety critical environment and want to build further in a more regulated setting, you’ll be supported to do that properly.
A SHEQ Manager like you understands ISO standards and environments where expectations are high. You know how systems should run… but more importantly, how to make them better!
You’ve led teams across safety, environmental or quality. A SHEQ Manager like you knows how to bring people with you, not just tell them what to do. And when something goes wrong, you’re comfortable getting into the detail, understanding why and putting it right.
To be a SHEQ Manager here, you’ll need a Level 6 qualification.
It’s non-negotiable, just because of the environment they’re operating in.
More than anything, you’re a SHEQ Manager people trust.
They know where they stand.
And they come to you when they need to.
What you get as SHEQ Manager
£60,000 to £70,000, Monday to Friday, days only, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, along with life assurance, pension and a paid sick scheme.
This is a long term SHEQ Manager role. A place where you can take ownership, influence the business and see the impact of what you’re doing.
The interview process is straightforward. An initial online chat, followed by a site visit so you can get a feel for it yourself.
