Sheq Manager

The role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive-SHEQ Manager-to drive a positive safety, environmental, and quality culture across our Highways, Road Tunnels, and Rail operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking engineering business and make a real impact.

You will be responsible for implementing SHEQ policies, leading audits (ISO 9001, HERS, Sector 8), achieving ISO 14001 accreditation, reviewing risk assessments, investigating incidents, and promoting safety awareness through training and toolbox talks. You will also provide SHEQ input for tenders and work closely with teams across our sites.

About you

• Proven SHEQ/H&S experience in construction (highways or rail desirable)
• NEBOSH Diploma + environmental qualification (IOSH/IEMA membership desirable)
• Strong legislative knowledge and communication skills
• Full driving licence, with travel between Swinton, Dartford, and sites (occasional weekend night closures)
