SHEQ Advisor based in Leeds, Cardiff or Kettering. The Opportunity A growing infrastructure and utilities contractor is looking to appoint a SHEQ Advisor to support projects across its UK operations. This role would suit a motivated and personable SHEQ professional with experience within utilities, civil engineering or infrastructure environments who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive, family-oriented business. Working closely with operational teams, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, conducting site inspections and audits, supporting compliance activities and coaching teams on best practice. Key Responsibilities Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace assessments across active projects. Monitor compliance with company procedures, client requirements and legislation. Support the delivery of a positive health and safety culture across the business. Provide practical SHEQ advice and guidance to operational teams. Inspect temporary works, excavations, traffic management and general construction activities. Produce audit reports, improvement plans and lessons learned documentation.
