Sheltered Scheme Manager

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Sheltered Scheme Manager to manage a retirement living scheme in Dudley on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Sheltered Scheme Manager:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the scheme to ensure a safe, supportive, and well-maintained environment for residents
• Provide housing-related advice and low-level support to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and local services to ensure effective support networks
• Organise and support resident engagement activities, community events, and regular communications

Key Requirements

• Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in housing, care, or support services
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and compassionate approach
• Understanding of welfare benefits, safeguarding, and tenancy management
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours and participate in an on-call rota
