      <description>Location: Maidstone | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Sheetmetal Worker  We are recruiting an experienced Sheetmetal Worker to join a busy fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bending, forming, finishing and fabricating sheet metal to produce high-quality components and assemblies.  Duties of this role will be :- - To read and interpret engineering drawings, templates and work instructions - Operate bending and forming equipment (press brakes (LVD ideally), bending brakes, Power assisted rollers and Power Guillotines) to shape sheet metal accurately - Perform finishing operations including grinding, deburring, filing, surface preparation and some spot welding to meet quality standards - Cut, punch and assemble components using hand tools and shop machinery - Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality; report and rectify defects - Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow health and safety procedures - Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and continuous improvement targets  Candidates suited to this role should have proven experience as a sheetmetal worker and possess the ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometer...</description>
