Sheet Metal Worker / CNC Press Brake Operator WimborneUp to £15 per hourDaysPermanent The Role Our client is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / CNC Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team.This is a hands-on engineering role involving the manufacture, fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components and assemblies. The successful candidate will have strong experience reading engineering drawings, operating CNC press brakes and working accurately to engineering specifications.Key Responsibilities Manufacture sheet metal products including electrical cabinets, boxes, brackets, panels and assemblies.Program, set and operate CNC Press Brake machinery.Create and modify CNC program using Bysoft software.Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.Cut, bend, shape and hand-finish sheet metal using a range of machinery, hand and power tools.Fabricate and assemble components using welding, riveting, bolting and soldering techniques.Work with a variety of sheet metal materials.Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met.Carry out routine machine maintenance and report any faults.Complete production records and job documentation.Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
