Job Description Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker Location: WorcesterSalary: £20.00 per hourHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridayRole Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Worker to join our Sheet Metal Department. The successful candidate will manufacture and assemble high-quality aluminium body panels and coach-built components using traditional sheet metal techniques. Working as part of a highly skilled team, you will play a vital role in producing handcrafted vehicles that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and precision.Key Responsibilities Manufacture bespoke automotive body panels using traditional sheet metal fabrication techniques.Shape and form components using hammer-forming and panel beating methods.Perform high-quality TIG (primarily aluminium) and MIG welding while controlling distortion and maintaining structural integrity.Assemble, fit, and prepare body panels and Body-in-White (BIW) assemblies for the paint process.Carry out general sheet metal fabrication and repair work in line with production schedules.Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Operate manufacturing jigs, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.Ensure all work meets required quality standards and production targets.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Work collaboratively with colleagues across production departments to achieve manufacturing objectives.
