Sheet Metal Worker - Tig Welder

OverviewSwift Temps Ltd Engineering Division are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker Engineer to join the team of our client based in Batley.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in TIG welding, demonstrate proficiency in working with thin plate stainless steel, and have the ability to fabricate components based on technical drawings.

Experience required

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker Engineer, specializing in TIG welding and working with thin plate stainless steel gauges between 1.5 to 3mil

Execute TIG welding techniques on thin plate stainless steel to ensure high-quality, precise, and durable welds.

The Sheet Metal Worker will utilize technical drawings to fabricate sheet metal components with accuracy and precision.

Work with various sheet metal materials, with a primary focus on thin plate stainless steel.

Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment.

Rate of payRate of pay £16.00 per hour

Working hoursWorking hours Monday to Friday 39 per week. Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4:15pm, Fridays 8am to 1pm.
