Sheet Metal Worker (Manufacturing / Ventilation)Coventry Full-Time PermanentA well-established and growing engineering manufacturer within the ventilation sector is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their workshop team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist business producing bespoke equipment for both new build and refurbishment projects.The RoleWorking within a small, skilled workshop team, you will be responsible for the manufacture of bespoke ventilation and air handling components.Key responsibilities include:Manufacturing bespoke ductwork, silencers, plenums, and air handling componentsWorking with galvanised sheet metal (typically 0.9mm - 3.0mm)Operating machinery including hydraulic presses and cutting equipmentInterpreting technical drawings and fabrication sketchesEnsuring all work is completed to a high standardMaintaining strong health and safety practices at all timesLiaising with the workshop supervisor and wider teamWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator within a relevant industryExperience working with galvanised sheet metalAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsGood practical skills and attention to detailPhysically capable of handling materials and toolsStrong work ethic with the ability to work effectively within a teamBasic maths skillsWhat''s on OfferHourly rate: 14.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)Full-time, permanent positionLong-term opportunity within a ..... full job details .....
