Key Responsibilities: Manufacture and fabricate sheet metal components from complex engineering drawings. Set up and operate machinery including brake presses, rubber presses, guillotines and band saws. Measure, mark out and inspect parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Carry out general sheet metal duties including deburring, drilling, forming and calculating bend allowances. Work primarily with aluminium, with occasional mild steel and stainless steel. Perform shaping and forming processes including stretch forming, shrinking and flattening materials. Maintain strict adherence to quality, health and safety and manufacturing procedures. Requirements: Previous experience within precision engineering, aerospace, automotive or a similar manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings independently.
