Sheet metal worker

Our client is currently recruiting 2 x experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricators. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator who can work from engineering drawings and produce high-quality sheet metal components.

The role involves working with a variety of fabrication machinery and tools to manufacture parts to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating sheet metal components from technical drawings
• Cutting, bending, forming and assembling sheet metal
• Operating fabrication machinery includingpress brakes, guillotines and rollers
• Carrying out basic welding where required (MIG/TIG advantageous)
• Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with fabrication equipment and hand tools
• Welding experience beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
