Sheet Metal Worker - Stanmore - -18ph - Immediate Start

My client, a specialist engineering contractor, has an urgent requirement for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their workshop based in Stanmore. This is an immediate start role with the opportunity to go permanent.

Pay & Hours:

• -18ph
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
• Overtime available at flat rate during probation period

Role & Responsibilities:

• Working on a brake press
• Selecting tooling appropriate for material and job
• Calculating bend tolerances from overall sizes
• Programming CNC machine for bends (machine-specific training can be provided, but understanding of information is required)
• Operating a Guillotine
• General workshop duties as required

Requirements:

• Proven sheet metal working experience
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Comfortable with workshop-based role, Monday to Friday
• No parking available on site
