Sheet Metal Workers (Aviation) - B737NG Conversion Project - Birmingham

Applications are now open for experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join a leading Global MRO on an exciting, high-profile B737NG conversion programme based in Birmingham. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability, competitive rates, and involvement in a major aviation project.

Contract Details

Location: Birmingham

Start Date: April 2026 (subject to security clearance)

Duration: Long term contract

Rate: -40 per hour Ltd (Outside IR35)

Shifts: Mon-Thursday

Hours:17:30pm - 4:00am night shift

Tooling: All tooling provided

Trade Test: Required prior to start

Accommodation: Not provided

Scope of Work

Structural removals and modifications on B737NG aircraft

Precision sheet metal work to tight tolerances

Interpreting manufacturer drawings and SRMs

Contributing to a complex, industry-leading conversion programme

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 5 years'' live aircraft experience
(B737, A320, or B777 experience preferred)

Strong structural and sheet metal expertise

Proven ability to read and interpret manufacturers'' drawings and SRMs

Right to Work in the UK
