Responsibilities and duties of the SHE Coordinator role
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager you will:
Support the implementation of safety, health and environmental processes in line with business and legislative requirements.
Provide guidance on company procedures to employees and contractors.
Carry out workplace inspections, ensuring actions are followed up to completion.
Contribute to communication channels including newsletters, meetings and training sessions.
Assist with incident investigations, reporting and follow-up of recommendations.
Support waste management and COSHH compliance.
Represent the SHE function at internal and external forums.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent.
Experience of working within a legislative framework.
Knowledge of auditing and risk assessment techniques.
Ability to deliver training and presentations.
IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are desirable.
Personal skills
